Yet it is my understanding that the bird flu and possibly the swine flu are derivitives of a gut virus. Most birds get it in their guts and develope an immunity, before their lung get exposed enough to the infection. I'm snot an expert about Q-tip disposal either. But toilets may not be the best for septic systems. (For certain, don't use one to clear your ear canal, its against Federal law. It can shoove the harder waxes against the eardrum and make you hard of hearing; and where a doctor is needed to get it out.) Sincerely, Gregory D.
