Is 2012 going to be the end of the world as we know it? An increasing number of celebrities believe so. If you do a search on the Internet, you will find a ton of celebrities who have offered up some really bizarre opinions about the year 2012.
Others believe that in 2012 the earth will experience a pole shift, and there are yet others that believe that "Planet X" will arrive that year. The following video that contains footage from the History Channel does a great job of summarizing some of the common beliefs about 2012....
So what will happen in 2012?
Will UFOs make open contact with humanity?
Will the earth experience a devastating pole shift?
Will our alignment with the center of the Milky Way galaxy cause natural disasters of unprecedented magnitude?
Will that be the year that Planet X is revealed?
Will it be the end of the world as we know it?
One thing seems certain - hysteria regarding the year 2012 is likely only to increase as we get closer to that date.
In fact, some people (including some very famous and well-known people) are likely to totally flip out about this whole thing.
So will some bad things happen in 2012?
Perhaps. A lot of really bad stuff is going to happen in our future, and some of it very well could happen in 2012.
But it won't be the end of the world.
Everyone has an opinion on 2012, and trust me, it’s a good thing. To see people engaging in interesting discussions rather than the usual mundane, is a welcomed relief.
We can only put forth good vibrations and prepare ourselves by all means necessary. Overall, spiritual preparation will be essential.
As for the matter of fact statement, “But it won’t be the end of the world”, Well let’s just hope that it isn’t. But one won’t know until that moment comes and goes. What will the aftermath be? Will any or us really want to be around depending on the circumstances?
And you left out an important what if, the hand our governments and world leaders have in this uncertain scenario.

the video above has so many facts wrong its painful, for one the Mayan’s NEVER stated that 2012 would be the end of the world it is just when their calander ends and then starts again like ours. and the whole the earth will align with the sun and the center of the universe and that will cause a pole shift is crazy, the earth, sun and the center of the universe align EVERY YEAR on December 21 on the winter solstice and a pole shift has happend before but its impossible for it to happen in days or even a few years, it takes thousands of years to finish, so before you start listening to this crap do the research yourself from a more respectable source

Whether the world end or not we all are gonna die someday you might just as well be ready. It is not about what will happen with us after we have died because no one knows what is beyond death. What we should be worrying about is what will we leave behind for those that will be the future. be calm everybody it’s not like you can stop death anyway!!
The World whome we lived now is not made by us it is made by the nature it self.
So if the nature wants to turn – off then no body can stop this.
